ISIM provides a centralized, secure, automated, and policy-based solution that manages user administration. ISIM enables System Administrators and Delegated Administrators to efficiently manage users on multiple platforms such as the IBM Security Directory Server while enabling data sources access review, deployment, and policy configuration. ISIM will provide out of the box features to create, modify, suspend, restore and delete a user account and it will also provide password management features for MPATH System Integration Platform users that use the Integrated Customer Access Portal (ICAP). The Identity and Access Management (IAM) solution for ICAP leverages ISIM to perform user provisioning and de-provisioning activities.
