ICAP provides secured single sign-on access to resources by allowing a user to create and manage an account. Access to the modules and platform tools is role-based. Access to modules and platform tools are processed through an approval workflow. Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is used to verify user identity. State users can use their state AD credentials to log in to the ICAP. Bulk users are uploaded by a bulk import method and are provided credentials to login into the ICAP. New users can create a new account using the portal.
Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) is a security system that requires more than one method of authentication from different categories of credentials to verify a user's identity for login. Using MFA confirms the user attempting to login to an account is the account owner and not a hacker, bot, or a different individual.
